Thanks weird lady Alexis

Cheers to a new adventure!

My family and I have returned to Kansas City. I'm thrilled to begin a new career, working for The University of Kansas Health System as an Anchor, Host & Reporter for the Medical News Network.

I'm joining an incredible team of journalists, producing stories and broadcasts, highlighting the amazing doctors, nurses, and numerous other healthcare providers, leading this community through an unprecedented time. I'll also be working closely with local and national journalists, coordinating interviews with medical experts for their various news reports.

On an even more personal note: So many of you have been asking about my pops. THANK YOU. We're working to get my #1 Guy all set up with his new team of neurologists and other experts in the Alzheimer's Disease Memory Clinic here. These doctors and nurses have dedicated their entire careers to caring for people and treating people with Alzheimer's Disease. Thank GOD for these lovely (and brilliant) humans.

The past few months have been filled with huge changes and so many emotions. Those changes and emotions are still underway as I type this!

If you're standing on the precipice of something big and wondering if you should take that jump into uncharted territory- remember this: You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take that first step. There will also be times the only available transportation is a leap of faith. 🙌😘
