Last night, “Twilight Zone” had an episode called “The Dummy” about a ventriloquist. I watched it for thirty minutes, expecting a conclusion, a punch line, or at least a moral to the story, but there really wasn’t much.
At the end, the credits listed Cliff Robertson as the star of the show.
No shit!!!
I recognized him when I saw the name, but I couldn’t remember anything I had seen him in. Apparently, that was most people’s response to Robertson. Looking back on his career, even Robertson said: "Nobody made more mediocre movies than I did. Nobody ever did such a wide variety of mediocrity"
