Why Can't Local TV Weather Forecasters Do This?

If there is a threat of snow for Kansas City, why not break it down like Accu-Weather? Example:
10+inches: 90%
6-9 inches: 5%
3-6 inches: 2%
2-4 inches: 1%
1-3 inches: 1%
Under 1 in: 1%
I think it would be pretty cool and give viewers a chance to properly prepare for the Snow Event that is about to hit Kansas City!
