Dude. You spend too much time listening to media like Fox doing the RIGHt's POINT of view.
The right wing politicians recruit voters to call themselves CONSERVATIVES and they vote in lockstep just like the politicians do....as ordered and 'whipped' by the Congressional whips into voting exactly as their leadership whips them. (Not physically, readers, parties have appointed 'whips', people whose job it is to 'whip them in line' to vote as leadership wants.) Thats why Republicans tend to vote unanimously and ones who don't get yelled at or threatened with defeat on the next election.
People who VOTE DEMOCRAT tend NOT to identify themselves AS "Democrats." They tend to identify themselves as "ANTI REPUBLICANS."
People who vote 'democrat; tend to be more independent in their political interests, they don't vote for the Democratic Party as much as they have one or two INTERESTS, and they vote for Dems because Dems vote against the Republican agenda.
So these DEM Voters, vote DEM because Republicans vote LOCKSTEP to favor CORPORATIONS, laws to protect corporations from consumer lawsuits, protect their copyrights and price fixing, and anything that Christian fundamentalists are for. The FUndies vote republican bexause the GOP pretends to be against abortion, prayer in schools, Confederate statues, and most things southern and racist.
Republican politicians dont' really BELIEVE any of it, but they support those policies ONLY to get fundamental Christians to vote Republican. Same story with the 2nd amendment about guns. And being pro-police, but that one DOES please the wealthy because cops are the only thing that stands in the way of criminals taking what the wealthy owns!
So yes, the wealthy wants your money and protection from you. That's why they vote Republican. They're not religious....they only worship the god of money. They want tax cuts. No safety nets for the poor as Jesus implored us to do. Get it now?
They're not even patriotic except to draw veterans and Marines to vote for em, with their flagwaving.
Just know that Republicans get their money from WEALTHY DONORS, and not YOU!
Thats why they say ONE to get your votes, but they always Vote for the WEALTHY!

And Sinclair that owns a BUNCH of TV stations of varous networks, is PRO REPUBLICAN. They serve their party, not the Public Interest. Just sayin.
