Aoife didn't know what to do. The ridge was empty, the abundance of life she'd been born into and had silently watched from afar was now quiet and desolate. She had kept herself hidden for so long, and only now when she felt ready for the world did everything go very quiet.

Father was gone, and mother was on tinuvel last she checked. She was alone. Despite the sadness lingering on her like a second skin, she was not only also enraged by her lack of will, but also the fact that the fearless women who had led the ridge so proudly had left them all. It was as though a single dark void had come and swallowed them all up in one go. Her adventurous world of color was now dull.

Voices whisper through the jungle, a shifting of winds bringing a familiar scent she was only slightly aware of but it gave her a small glimmer of hope that set her heart ablaze and sent her scurrying through the undergrowth. The vines snag and try to trip her, the swaying palms above knocking together as if laughing at the young girl in her silent plight, but she had to go to them. They were all that remained so far. A shade of red through the trees give her pause but then she thinks of Riv and is suddenly spilling out onto the path in the hopes to stop the red woman from leaving too, but instead of Rivaini's face that she looks up to meet it is that of her son with the scarred face that is a breath away. She doesn't recoil like some would, instead baring her teeth at him and slanting her ears back into blonde strands of mane in the hopes she seemed intimidating enough to hold her own.

"Where are they all?", she seethed through her teeth, as though it was on him now for their absence. The darker shape further down the path behind hades hadn't quite caught her attention but her nose told her she was unevenly matched.
