Abt Changing times

if you judged posts by whether praising or telling war stories or projections about automation, and you conclude everyone has a chip on their shoulder, maybe you think they're yours, Jim. But you ain't Ron eric, for he had way too successful a career to be even thinking of me...and RETs not nuts like you are. Its been always just YOU.

If we could just get some more people in here talking about RTV, there'd be more to talk about than Olinik's fixations of one guy stead of an industry that was way over his head. He can call me names all day long but he can't talk about the business, because he knows little about it. When he fixes about me thinking abt career failure, he's just projecting--look where he ended up!

I bet that cool piece he wrong on sales, he pasted fm somebody else. Mr paste man doesn't offer any original thought in here.

If I'd been in sales, I'd have found something else to sell in 3 months! Borrrrrring! I'd have joined a team to stage events to demonstrate fighter jets or tank battles for generals with billions of dollars in their pockets to spend. I think the best sales slugs in the world sold F-35 fighters, which can't fight! But a piece of it was made in every state so every state Congressman voted for it and KEEPS voting for it.

Unlike radio, they'd at least get souvenirs of the sale... pieces of worthless hardware sitting on the flightlines of their state's AFB's!

So what did you think about my musings of the continued automation and eventual ending of local stations owned by out of town corporations? I think they'll be gone along with millions of jobs of people in small business. Already most small towns' busintess districts have whithered away with even farmers wives buying mail order or driving to towns like Topeka & Manhattan to their regional Walmarts. I don't think many of em make enough money to buy local radio & TV, can they? You can tell which CAN because they DO. Everybody else apparently does direct mail because it pinpoint targets the most likely customers. Keeps the postoffice trucks going I guess. Our mailbox is stuffed with it every day!
