Keepin Jimbob Honest.

Someone taught me years ago that most people think others have the same morality (or lack of it) that THEY do.

Christians tend to be honest to a fault and are taught FAITH, which is belief without evidence. So Christians tend to believe what preachers tell them no matter how absurd are the miracles.

Similiarly liars and criminals think most poeple are similarly liars or criminals. Crooks lie all the time, like sales people do for a living. Ever heard of an honest salesman? Me either)
So liars think everyones a liar and thieves buy lots of padlocks to protect their stuff... they assume everyone's a thief just like they are.

While salesmen are trained to lie to close sales, news people are trained to tell the truth because their credibility is all they have to offer as media storytellers.

Newspeople are teachers and the studio is their classroom. We teach, whether about addictions or tornadoes, or the economic ripoffs by corporations against their workers. We tend not to be as arrogant as we might be because of our fame... but after awhile we get used to the notoriety, and we are humbled by the truth, which is that our fame is caused not by our talent, but buy our bosses ability to make us recognizable by everyone in town.

Not for praise. More than likely unless you're the station anchor or weatherman, people don't realize youre a famous newscaster.... they just think youre face is somehow familiar.

All that means to us is that store clerks thinks we're not famous, but just regular customers they've seen before....so they tend to take our checks without checking our drivers licenses for a name and photo match.

Fame isn't an ego rush as much as wealth is. Strangely, people fall all over theselves if they think you're rich. I think that's how The Donald got elected, well maybe.

Maybe he was just overexposed in NYC, his hometown, because that's a liberal town and I doubt he carried the boroughs! Could be just his racism is what made him popular in the South and among the lunch bucket crowd in the northeast. Dunno.

Who'd YOU vote for Jim, if anybody?
