Creating a weird dog familiar for Zafferano. This is basically the description, and then I’ve worked out some costings below:
Sandalio is a gelert, a rare and legendary dog known to be exceptionally loyal to its bonded. He has a medium build which looks lighter because of his tall legs and loping gait. He is mostly short-haired with shaggy points in the warm months, but grows a thicker, fluffier coat during the cold months. He has a long, whiplike tail which tapers into a fine point, and similar long, whiplike ears which do the same. In low light, Sandalio looks mostly black and blends in well with dark; when a light is shone on him, his coat has a strong iridescent rainbow sheen like oil. It’s only in bright, direct sunlight that most of the blackness disappears and Sandalio’s coat appears as a shimmering rainbow.

- Recolour Familiar for unnatural coat colour
Then:
- 1,500$ for long ears.
- 1,500$ for long tail.
- 500$ extra for the weird coat colour, since the effect with light/darkness is borderline a magic trait/unnatural colour.
Total 3,500$ from bank in addition to the two items.
