Sinaet shifted sharply at first; the foreign mare had been closer than she had anticipated. Pale nostrils flared apprehensively as the overo reached her maw forward to greet her. The maiden stretched her muzzle in the other's direction. Nothing in the mare's milling scent was familiar nor were any of names she said, indicating that Sinaet had indeed succeeded in finding a place far from any she might know. Good. The skin of her shoulder prickled then. She had not thought about the timing of her arrival. She shoved the thought away; it made no difference... not yet anyway.
The seal bay mare called herself Vanya, called herself a queen. The splash merely nodded her head in acknowledgment, though envy soured her. Pale ears twisted backward a few degrees as Vanya lipped at her shoulder. It was an overly friendly gesture in her eyes. Green eyes glanced sideways at the mare. She wondered behind the other's intentions and would continue to for the time being. Velvet vocals parted the maiden's lips plainly, betraying none of her inner musings.
"Sinaet. My name's Sinaet."
