Here's one for you: Todd Haley is set for a coaching position with his 8th pro football team. Haley has had a variety of responsibilities with the Steelers, Chiefs, Cowboys, Bears, Jets, Browns and Cardinals. This time, he’ll be the Head Coach of the Tampa Bay Bandits, a USFL team.
Haley is one of the few coaches who has never played football beyond youth level.
Wikipedia says Haley played on the "golf squads" of two different colleges. I guess that means as a golfer, NOT just shucking other players' “mulligans.”
I had forgotten all about Haley, despite the fact that Kansas City is one of the many teams he has coached, and I was surprised to hear that the USFL is still in business (or again).
