You have no clue, Bimbo. People are gettin it from their kids cuz not that many have had their shots, and they can't keep their hands off of each other and the playground equipment, and none of em use soap in the school bathroom.

Its even hit my family, from a kid. Tests are in short supply, the drug stores had a run on the $17 ones over the weekend. Signs say sold out, maybe more deliveries at cVS and Wallgreens by Thursday. I had major tooth pain last Thursday w shakes and illness cuz I had to wait to see the dentist til yesterday. Wife gave me one of our home covid tests, I was relieved it was Negative but wife'd bought 2 of em a few weeks ago. Kids that are getting it aren't getting swabbed because everybody's sold out and people aren't gonna sit in line in this weather for the free health dept ones in some empty Mall parkng lot.
The one that hit us was from a Christmas visit with friends and their kids. Turns out brother in law's family have had it and they're working.
And so many people are so obscenely independent there was better obedience last summer than as now and NOW the infection rate's way up breakin records.
Soon as the Supreme Court rules in favor of gummment mandates and the Republican governors can't sue and threaten school districts and jackoffs like Rand Paul will be shut down when he finds out what KY's rate will be next week, months before he runs for reelection, well you're gonna hear doors slamming shut, runs on the grocery stores again, and a horrible shortage of OTR truck drivers that will make it far worse.
Bet I-70 wont be wall to wall trucks by the first of february!

Omicron's HIGHLY contagious but except for the unvaxxed, symptoms have been mild. Airlines are canceling flights cuz the aircrews are down sick, that was news again yesterday.
And all these low paid ignorant people don't make nearly enough money or can afford deductables on even lousy insurance to ever get out of debt. I had contractor doing work for me before christmas, his hired hand got it, I had more work for him and I pay well, but havnet seen hide nor hair of em since then. And nope, I don't want him back. Anyway. Fast food kids are gettin it.
And lots of HS and college kids performed so poorly with online learnng last year-- cheating, not doing their studying with no supervision, they're gonna have to pay for and retake fundamental classes they should have had in HS, before they can get accepted in upper division tech classes. I feel really sorry for these kids. LIke most kids, skipped chemistry when it was FREE in HS but have to pay tuition for the same class if they later wanna get into health care.
Course we had vietnam to contend with and it interrupted my education, but I'm not sure which was more deadly, the war or now the covid!
Wonder what the FLorida tourist industry is gonna do about Gov DeSantis who threw away thousands of govt paid tests rather than hand em out free!
Darwin would be proud to see us thin the herd of our stupid people who could have saved themselves and the gumment would have paid for the shots and used the National Guard to direct traffic and wheelchair the elderly right to the vax nurse and then back to their cars in the Sears parkinglots!
But the gumment isn't paying for these hospitalizations, I don't think. and Hospitals are triaging now who gets admitted. Nurses can travel anywhere in the country and make $100 an hour, plus a signup bonus, work a 12 hour shift for $1200 a DAY!
They just have to know how to run a respirator and give out Covid cocktails while Fox still runs every obscure story they find about somebody who HAD his shots and still got sick,, which makes no sense! But they don't tell about all the people who got the covid but luckily didn't get hospitalitized after 3 shots!
