Actually, I was never very clever but I did have a fair amount of deejaying in my younger days at Amer Forces radio and then was morning newsman so learned a sense of timing with some good morning men.
I'd say I learned to be passable even in THIS market.
How bout you Dotor Full? Having been in both media, I'd say local TV isn't known for generating entertainers since mostly local production is either news writing or engineering/floor crew work.
Well Except for the Mary Tyler Moore show, but that was network comedy--a different genre from real local TV.
They know comedy--not that they TELL funny jokes but the characters ARE funny jokes. Wouldn't you agree? Replies:
