Sooo, I've been working on Antiope's history, and I thought I would throw this out there for peoples just in case they want to get involved. If not, that's cool too!
Antiope left her mother as a yearling and joined a (yet unnamed) kingdom. The kingdoms in this land typically had an army and diplomats with ranks. Anyway, Antiope joins the army and starts training with the group. There are two (also unnamed at this point) good friends that she makes. A boy and a girl. Originally I had it in my head that all three of them were in the army, but it could also work that one of them was a diplomat. To Antiope they are all friends at this point, but there could be some suppressed feeling going on - stronger feelings than friends, but yet untold, and some jealous that may lead to what happens later on.
Anyway, all is well for a while. Their days consist of sparring and border patrols, and if there is a diplomat, then maybe that one is gone on diplomacy missions every so often. This could either be the boy or the girl. But whichever one it is gets jealous of the 2 that stay behind maybe. Eventually a war with a rival kingdom breaks out, and one of the friends turns out to be a traitor. This is devastating to the other two, and Antiope singles the traitor out on the battle field. They scrap, but Antiope is either overpowered/knocked out or! struck by lightning, because I want her to have a dope scar, and left for dead.
When she comes to, instead of returning to her kingdom, she flees to The Lost Islands. And here we are. I haven't decided yet what all she remembers, buuut I think it would be interesting if one or both of those friends popped up eventually. There's a bit to unpack there. Anyway, before I name everybody and all that, I figured I'd throw this up in case anyone else wanted to get involved. <3 Hopefully my rambling made a little sense. Replies:
