Sorry, a PS...no ones an expert until they fully experience all the ages of children, even past when t hey grow up and leave home.

it's hard to change your attitude in how to treat your GROWN children differently than how you did when they were young and even more stupid.

But While there's the attitude of 'chidren should be seen and not heard', theres the other attitude admonishing today's helicopter parents.

That saying is , "If you put your kids FIRST, they will too!"
