The other night, I saw an old episode of “The Alfred Hitchcock Hour” on TV. The main character looked familiar, but I couldn’t place him.

He looked a lot like Joe Biden, and even had Biden’s mannerisms. At the end, the credits said it was Bob Newhart. Then I recognized him, of course.

I never cared much for Newhart (or Biden, either), so I seldom watched any of his shows. Maybe that’s why I was slow to recognize him.

Amazing how much boring Joe Biden looks and acts like boring Bob Newhart. All Biden needs now is a laughtrack.
