Re(3): Beggar Radio

I tend to multitask here in my office where I have my easy chair, two PC's and a couple mobile devices. My All in One Dell has two monitors so I have three screens and a world map above my desk, plus my signature five clocks above set in 3 us time zones, Beijing, and Central Europe.

Plenty going on here, so I the only commercials I ever watch are the ones at halftime during the superbowl.

Even surfing the net here, I'm watching Roku, Netflix or cable. Like you, I tune out most repetitive spots and multitask.

And on a personal note, thanks for Responding to one of my stage names, which I created to convey the thought I don't take myself too seriously.

IMHO would have been better but everybody uses that one.

RadiomanKC, nickname RMAN was my first choice in here but Jim went through a stage when he thought HE was in radio and he lusted for my handle. I gave it to him and he only used it for a month. Now he only contributes in here with a half dozen people or the names of my kids to needle me.

I also use the name of my large hobby website on the internet when I post to highly read political sites.

I never used my given name except for awhile on American Forces Radio when some jackoff colonel decided it would be more military to use our ranks and names. We were all pretty pissed becaue we performed to give the illusion to our fellow soldiers were were 'back home' radio. But at least they didn't tell us what music to play or what to say, so we obeyed the few command orders like good draftee soldiers. We had to wear our fatigues but in radio, nobody noticed.

Now that Jim's out of his 'radioman' stage, I may go back to my nom d plume of Rman. This site is very much a performing stage, just like when I did the news.

Thanks tho for the respect Topeka!
