Fish On Ash Wednesday

I had to eat fish today (Ash Wednesday) after getting an ash cross on my forehead at a Catholic church over by Crown Center.

It's tough to find anyplace in KC that serves fish. All of the Long John Silvers were full, line out the door, so - - I went to a Chinese drive-thru restaurant. Chinese restaurants have always got something fish-based.

I ordered a fish special to go. It had rice, veggies, crab rangoon and TWO shrimp.

I hope God appreciates my sacrifice.
