I'd point out I don't have ASD nor was I raised on Sesame Street. Back in the dark ages, textbooks had mostly words, not pages and pages of mostly pictures.
Like many, I was a horrible student in high school because I was unmotivated and afraid of college.
After graduation, my spinster great aunt got ahold of me for part of the summer. She was a hardass and taught English and Latin at Westport.
By the time she was done with me, I went from D's in HS English to A's in the language arts in college.
She'd be proud I majored finally in journalism and yes, 500 words doesn't scare me or bore me like you young pups.
You can imagine how hard it is for me to adhere to Twitter's 140 character limit. But we can post pictures, memes and links to longer form thinkpieces there.
Ya should read on one of my pages what the experts think of Putin. I was amazed but I did have to wade through HIS blabbing. It was worth it like it was reading why Trump was just an asshole.
One more thing.
Smartphones forcing you to write a sentence with your thumbs are worthless devices--only good for telling the wife what time you'll be home for dinner. Smartphones are why you don't learn anything in THIS room. Jocks can't read anything longer than a liner card before they get eyestrain.
