Working on my own house, I've learned there is both a lumber shortage and a paint shortage. I've waited 3 weeks for Sherwin Williams to get ordinary interior latex in. Same with lumber which explains their high prices. Car prices too with shortage of computer parts to run them. And gasoline, tho that is also affected by producers like OPEC holding back production to push the prices up.
Republicans today on their FB and Twitter pages are quick to blame those inflationary price hikes on Biden. Desperate to regain power next November, REPUBLICANS ARE LYING about what (or who) is at fault.
Economics 101...Law of supply and demand-- When demand is high and supply is low, expect the market to compete. People are willing to pay more to get the goods they want, leaving those who wont pay more to wait or go without. Replies: There have been no replies.
