When I was young, they were called dime stores. Or Ben Franklin. Or Woolworths. Or TG&Y. But then I made a buck an hour, or $2.50 to mow a lawn.
And nobody figured on getting two large's a month for Social Security! When DIDN'T people complain about prices? I was agast when I had to pay 31 cents a gallon for gas and 35 for Ethyl. Replies: There have been no replies.
