I know, it’s my fault. I’m a game-show junkie, and I spend too much time watching them.
I really shouldn’t gripe. All I have to do is shut off my TV, but 4:00 PM weekdays is a convenient time for me to feed my game-show addiction.
I spent a lot of time watching “Jeopardy!” from mid-November through the end of January, the 40-day reign of Amy Schneider.
In case you’ve forgotten, Schneider is a gender-bender “tranny.” He/She is NOT attractive as a woman, and it’s impossible for me to watch him/her on Jeopardy! without thinking all the way through, “THAT person is a guy.”
It was bad enough that she was a winner for forty days, but Jeopardy! shows its re-runs a short time after their initial broadcast. Schneider’s forty days of re-runs came on shortly after their original broadcast, and today she concluded her forty days of RERUNS.
Jeopardy! brings it’s big winners back for Tournament(s) of Champions time after time, so I’m sure Schneider will be back, again and again. I’ll either have to learn how to tolerate him/her/it, or find another show to watch when Amy is on.
Remember when life was less complicated? Back when we only had two genders? ??
