Judging by what I've seen/read from you, rman, I'd guess Bobby Rydell was one of the musicians/singers you liked. I'm sure you've heard by now, Rydell checked out Tuesday at age 79.

I heard some of his music, of course, but the Bobby Rydell/Frankie Avalon/Fabian style of music never really "did it," for me.

Can't argue, he ws very successful. I wish him the best as he leaves this life.
