Re(2): Get lost, Ulinek

I remember well, Alvin called one of my associates at the Academy, and asked about who might have logged in with the Academy's URL... that was in broadcasting, he told you.

And our fancy phone system recorded the call fm a WIBW number. Then since, Jim masquarades as "Here in Topeka" aka Alvin, the one time part time black midday jock. I called him one to ask if he was still writing me under that handle in this room, he laughed and said no way. That's when I knew it was always Jim again. Jim also uses my kids names, both of them just this week. And RET, who surely can't be bothered with this KC room. And Lanterman. I think Jim keeps files on posters in here and replies to my easily identifiable post. If that's not stalking, I dunno what IS! Grin. Now I leave breadcrumbs for him to provide a little interest in his lonely life!

Everyonce in awhile I see one of my posts or a phrase from one repeated from 5-10 years ago. God knows, as much as I write I'm sure he has to put em on the Cloud, thankfully storage space is dirt cheap. Two bucks a month and I got multiple websites up, tons of photos and music. What I DON"T do is pay for an online data house to look up ex radio people up on here like he does.

Don't beliee me? With less than a dozen people in this room, what are the odds of more than one stalker in this little closet of a message board? My bet is all these trash posts lead to Prairie Village. Ulinik should have been a CIA researcher... he spends a lot of time chasing me. He should spend his idle hours between client phone calls looking for Russians. So other readers, don't believe a word of what the PV narcissist says on here. He thinks this is a private email system between him and me.

He complains I dont write much about radio. He NEVER does. Just about me. I'm the guy who writes about radio in here. ROFLMAO! Speaking of radio...one of my repetitive complaints.

Got a question, why do all the Greatest Hits stations have such short playlists. Locally I heard Pink Floyds Major Tom twice, in two days, same daypart. And Eye of the Tiger almost everyday. yet they claim they bring us Greatest Hits of the 70s-80s-90s! Three decades of pop and country hits and they run the stations like they're Billboard Top 20 hot rotation! Remember the days when there was a stack of 45's marked "A list" And then a few more marked "B" and then a couple new releases slipped in? That's top 40 radio.

I bet there's not a program director in the country that is a student of some long dead consultant's psychographics-- the study of listener likes and habits.

All those songs were run into the ground when they were new. Jocks know that, when they were sick of the same songs every shift, they just muted the studio speaker so they wouldn't go nuts.

Well even today radio overplays the shit out of them on oldies stations (rebranded "greatest/classic hits" into the ground still today two decades later!

It was better before a dozen radio corporations bought up all the stations.

At least before that you could hear MD's with some of their own musical tastes to pique your memories when you hear a song reminding you who you were with back in the day. That's what oldies are for, but none of the greatest hits programmers understand that.

And all the Queen music there is to play, Elton, a hundred big time artists selling millions of albums, radio only plays a half dozen released as singles. Don't they realize that people haven't bought 45 rpm records for 60 years? Every song on million selling albums are hits to real grownups. We're not little teen girls buying a Jackson Five record for 49 cents once a week cuz they heard it on the radio in their bedrooms!

And the boys aren't dancing to CCR at a roadhouse today like they did in 1967!

The body that was once popular radio like in "American Grafitti" is starting to stink up the car.
