The dark mare's amber eyes glaze over as she revels in the sun, her dark brown hide warm to the touch now as it soaked up its glorious rays. The weeks she'd spent here had been some of the most relaxing of her life. Wasp found it strange how easy it was to forget her anxieties, how quickly her worries about the Peak, Macabre, Bacardi, Solomon just disappeared here. She knew it wouldn't be this way forever. But she grasped at it now, wanting to hold on to this short recluse period for as long as it lasted.

The Peak mare did occasional come across another equine in her jaunts around Paradise. But Wasp was hardly interested in making any friends. Usually a good pin of her ears followed by a snort or a stomp was enough to encourage the stranger to skirt the other way, helping Wasp to avoid communicating with anyone at all. But not today, it seemed.

Wasp caught her scent in the passing breeze. Her eyes flickered open, but the heavy-set mare did not immediately urge herself up and out of the sand. Only when she heard the hushed "Hello" did she groan, slowly retracting her thick, feathered legs into her body, and with a bit of a growl, she rolled up from off her side. White speckles of sand still clung to her dark coat and the side of her face.

She stared at the peculiar mare and her interesting scar for a good long while before snorting, then extending her legs so she could stand. Only then did she give her body a good shake to rid of the excess beach from her. Wasp cocked her head to one side curiously as she stared at the mare again, waiting for her to speak again. Eventually she became impatient. "What?"
