Russia is over-due for another revolution, a complete overthrow of communist rule.
We thought/hoped a full revolution would follow the dissolution of the Soviet Union in December, 1991, but there were still enough KGB enforcers from the old Soviet regime to keep people like Putin in power.
Maybe a defeat of the Russian military in Ukraine, the consequences of the economic sanctions we have imposed and Putin’s cancer will combine to free the Russian people from more than a century of communism.
