Right, nonthreatening� is probably a ruse from Vi�arr. A ruse, but not necessarily a lie. Somewhere in between. Somewhere between the two concepts. He�s a duality. To this woman before him, he�s not a threat. Vi�arr wouldn�t harm her. No, she doesn�t deserve it. Most of them don�t deserve it. Something had been woken in his system, though, something that was hard to will silent once more. Something that shades him in a less� less kind light. No. He�d quiet it for now.

She was okay, and Vi�arr nodded once. Right, what did he say now? His command over the common language had improved, but it still left him� stumbling, sometimes. Words were hard. Still, she gives her name, and the shadow resists the urge to repeat it, try it out in his own mouth. A singular, soft nod. �Vi�arr,� it�s an introduction, one that comes with a kind enough smile. Though hesitant to approach further, he�ll simply� be for now. Be nearby, but not too close. Social graces. Fucking social graces.

Curiosity though, seems to take her over. It shifts her demeanor, and makes the shadow more comfortable where he stands. �From, no. But I live on one of the near islands,� still, the common tongue fails him. The words are covered in the lilting Swedish accent, but that�s� good enough. The words he speaks are good enough. �Luthien, to the north and the east of here,� Vi�arr gestured with his velveteen muzzle.

�Are you just arriving, Rusalka?� Now is the chance that he takes to try out her name on his tongue, to let it rest in his mouth for a long moment. Curious enough, after all. Always curious, and relaxing some as they speak. She appears too at-ease to know that the Common isn�t the safest, especially with sunlight fading from the day. Still, Vi�arr does his best to remain relaxed.
