Speaking of I Heart, I was catching KLOU the other day. They're St Louis's Greatest Hits station.
Noticed that they BILL themselves as Hits of the 80s and 90s. But they still play a lot of 70s, which is good because all 25-40 somethings know all the 70s music enough to sing along with the songs of that decade.
And it was pretty good music, come to think of it! By adding the 70s hits, they've increased their playlist by a THIRD!
That should be a big help to attract the 'listen at work' crowd whose outgrown tight rotation music radio's run into the ground for 25 years! Replies: There have been no replies.
