The main Island proved to be a dull place for the rust colored mare, so dull in fact that on a particularly heated morning, Vassa found herself daydreaming of foreign coastlines. After her brief encounter with the plucky little pony in the Meadow, she indeed amiss at the fact that the mare had inclined that she was scared. She'd show her. Ha! It was nearing evening when Vassa decided it was now or never if she intended to prove Blue wrong. She was a queen after all. Maybe not officially, but she was a proud mare nonetheless.

Vassa was a restless soul, content to drift with the tides in search of everything and nothing at the same time. She paused briefly on the beach, the water lapping at her pale hooves before she began the descent into the cool waters. Contrary to the sun beating at her back, the water was frigid as her legs kicked beneath her. She travels aimlessly, head barely above the water, her nose pitched to prevent water from drippling down her nasal cavity. Her blue eyes spot an island in the distance and she immediately she ilicits a grown. Finally... So it wasn't just one drab little island after all.

Her hooves finally make purchase on the coarse sand as she pulls her soaked, lithe body from the brine. She shakes, her pale mane slapping against her slender neck. A chill runs her spine and she almost regrets traveling so close to the end of the day. Her swim had taken longer than expected and the sun was dipping low in the horizon. Her chances of drying before sundown were slim at best. She tilts her head, ears perking to the sound of chirping birds, their long songs filling her ears as she takes a tentative step towards the jungle density. Where had she ended up? It didn't matter, anything was better than that godforsaken main island. Right?
