The time has come that she begin beefing up the Inlet herd. Though she debates every single day if she should continue being the keeper of the Inlet, mother has made it clear how much the place means to her family, she continues on. Not to mention that her ruling the Inlet helps to keep her a Princess. It was probably that fact alone that keeps her going. She could be content with just Arneis at her side, but temptation taunts her daily. Isak randomly picking her home for exploring, Loupgaru somehow finding her...
Plus, if she leaves she doesn't know if Orphiel will be able to find her. Surely he could make the connection that she might go back to the Cove where her parents were, but who knows. He might not care anyway. It was unfortunate that having such a big family means you had to be careful of who you bed with. Father's genes take out so much of her dating pool!
Darkness engulfs the sea as she swims towards the main island. She can tell she is getting close by the change of temperature, but not close enough. At this time of day there might be no one around the commons to take home, but perhaps she will get lucky and find someone desperate for safety. Not that plunging into the dark sea at night with a stranger was safe in any way, but heck she would try it! There might be someone new out there just itching for a home to start a new life. Someone to show then the ropes of the islands. She could be that for someone!
Parvati reaches the beach as the clouds take away the beauty of the stars. One could say this was an ominous feeling, but she didn't believe in that kind of thing. Things just happened in life sometimes. She had been unlucky in her choice to fall for Orphiel and unlucky that stallion had sought the Thicket back for his family. But...perhaps there was a fate at work here. The Thicket had once been in Bacardi's family and the Inlet had once been in hers. Now they both get to restart their family's heritage. Don't think this forgives the stallion! Parvarti never wanted to see his face again!
At first, the search of the commons comes up empty. She just so happens to stumble upon the grazing stallion near his spot of shelter. Instantly, she recognizes him and puffs angrily. This guy somehow beat her in their spar days ago! Before she says anything (or gets closer) she points her nose to the sky and takes a whiff. There was a mare near by (she could smell her) so she swiftly decides to try her hand at claiming for the first time. Parvati canters towards him with haste. She wasn't about to let this chance situation slip her by!
Her lips reach out to nip him just like she has seen some stallions. Hopefully the mare with him would get the picture. This one is mine. The dream she had back in the Thicket may still be obtainable yet!
