PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

whatever you do;

make certain your hands are clean ;

Ah, the lauded Peak. Rafe was quite certain he would never willingly set foot in this land, and yet here he is. Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that. Fell is a pest, a thorn in his side, and cannot be allowed to get any stronger. Perhaps the mares of the Peak simply don’t know what is going on with him; they certainly zeroed in on Rafe quickly enough, but that is a complaint for another time. It is cold here, even in the height of summer, and the craggy mountain above has Rafe eyeing it warily. One rock slide from that could end his life. He has little desire to attempt a climb, either, not missing the shining white patches of snow still visible high up on the gray cliff face.

He settles far from the base of the mountain, out in the open and far from any residents so it will hopefully be clear he isn’t here for a fight. He isn’t sure if Oswin, Bagheera or Anath will approach first, or perhaps some as-yet-unknown Peak member. Whoever it is, he intends to explain just what is happening beyond their borders. Rafe has little understanding of the politics within a herd of mares such as this, but he does know that he has a bone to pick with them. To leave Fell unbothered and instead focus their attentions on him is just silly.

He doesn’t bother calling out to announce himself - if Oswin is keeping a close eye on her constituents, she will arrive. And the others he’s met, well they seem to be able to sniff him out across the entirety of the Crossing isle. Finding him in their home, out in the open, should be no real issue. They will come, and he will speak his peace. If they join him in curbing the rampant demands of this overzealous stallion then he will welcome the help. If not, at least he will further prove that he is not the worst thing that can happen to a mare on these islands (after all, he’s never raided herds, never stolen mares from their homes and made off with them in the night), and hopefully have one less headache to deal with.
