Sisters,

Your silence has spoken loud and clear. I stated I did not want to remain as your Prime Minister unless I saw for certain I was wanted as such. At the conclusion of this election, I am stepping down as your Prime Minister and vacating the position effective immediately.

I have had time to reflect, and I believe I led the Peak wrongly these last few years. I was too aggressive in our mission rather than patient and educational. I have always been the sort to swing first and ask questions later. It made me an excellent General, but it did not translate well into leading the Peak as a whole.

The islands are growing in numbers, and instinct-based stallions are arriving in droves, beginning to steal mares from their homes and break apart families. The exact opposite of what I wanted to happen is happening all over and it’s heartbreaking.

While I am not your leader, while we do not have one to speak for us, I will begin traveling the islands with peace in mind and spread the message that no matter how few our numbers are here, the Peak will always be here for those who need us. If any of you would also like to adopt these practices, I am hoping we can heal the damage that was done. The more we educate the islands and teach these instinct-based stallions that our way of life here is different and we always stand in support of the oppressed, the better I believe we can make life here for everyone.

Thank you for the trust you once had in me. Perhaps in the future you will all see me as worthy to be looked at as Prime Minister once again. Until then, I will always remain your faithful, dutiful sister.
