Interesting Bob, but I have read a couple of books covering the Afghan war, that many of the pilots in the British Army who fly the Apache helicopters are in fact non commissioned. I have also read that the Brits have invited lower ranks to apply to fly choppers. How I wish the RAAF had followed the USARMY and employed Warrant Officer chopper pilots.
