Re(1): Return Of My ROKU 4 Channel(s)

Could be whatever technical system ROKU uses to snatch local signals either directly from the TV station or an OTA (over the air) receiver that collects and relays ALL the locals into the system failed and they were simply waiting for parts to arrive. Roku's not a big outfit like Spectrum that would have backup redundencies in case of failures and a system failure may just be out of service until replacement equipment arrives.

I'm speculating, of course but we all know that high tech equipment is expensive and backup systems for every signal just doubles their equipment costs, right?

I don't know much about how ROKU makes its money...I presume by reselling premium channels fees. I don't know whether ROKU pays TV stations which air commercials, or TV stations pay ROKU to carry them.

Do YOU know?
