UPDATE 31 JUL 2022: RAY HALL [C-130A/E Loadmaster]
I have just received information from Ray Hall’s son Craig that Ray was found unconscious on his unit floor this morning, taken to hospital by ambulance.
The prognosis is not good with Ray not expected to survive the next 24 hours.
Sad news indeed, up until a couple of months ago he was so positive but having had a seizure a couple of weeks ago Ray recovered but suffered Dysphasia [a condition that affects your ability to produce and understand spoken language] as a result.
Ironically, in the week prior to his seizure Ray was interviewed by WGCDR Leigh Collins [AF History & Heritage] providing an oral history record of his service, including his 12 month posting to Phan Rang in 1969.
