Well you're a Trumpster and thats' because your value system more closely lines up with his. You criticize Biden, saying he doesn't have 'guts'. Don't confuse 'guts' with 'bravery'.
Biden was chosen by Obama because both men have similar value systems. What are they? They're not ASSHOLES. Carter was the same way, even Clinton.
They've learned there's no objective to be achieved by satisfying their own egos by insulting others--even if they do deserve it.
Only lesser men like Trump need to do that. Only lesser men respect those who do that.
When I look at most Republican politicians, I look down on them because they lack vision and empathy and they are self centered and will sell you out in a heartbeat. Put another way, I'd never want to be in a Foxhole with them.
People who are like them vote for Republicans. People CAN change but first they must recognize they're on the wrong side. Once that's done, one can go to some mental meetings and get enlightened and then follow a different path besides the Dark Side.
Makes good sense because we become the company we keep.
I know someone who grew up a bigot, in part because he lived in bigoted times. I liked to think he became enlightened over time when in his final times, he discovered how generous black people can be wiping his butt when he couldn't. Not everybody gets that chance to change and takes advantage of it.
I do admire people who started out as Republicans, see the light, and then change--even if they're accused of disloyalty! A lot of Germans did but they had to be made to see the bodies before they realized they'd been on the wrong side.
I'm not very religious, but I've described it like some do... they suffered a "Come to Jesus moment" and the last stop on that train is to make amends or at least be glad they were enlightened while they still had time. Don't put em down because they're old--most people make it that far but many never have that moment!
I'd vote for an Old Biden anytime before voting for a Donald Trump. Since you don't feel that way, wondering if maybe you should think about it for a little while, while you can!
And doesn't it seem strange that people like the Chinese and Russians who grew up in regimes that favor group-dynamics rather than Rand's Objectivism end up living under totalitarian regimes? Must humans be forced to want to care for their fellow man? Well, that's for a whole nother discussion! Replies: There have been no replies.
