Surprise and then confusion find Oswin’s expression at the angry words spat at her from the blue roan. Oswin’s blue eyes widened as she took a small, physical step back, and slightly shook her head. “Murderer? What do you mean?”

The only horse the pair of them new was Tyr… was this who the roan was speaking about? Oswin felt her heartbeat pick up with anxiety and worry, all those words spat at her by her angry General and all the sweet words Tyr had said were mixing around in her consciousness.

“I don’t willingly interact with murderers when I know they’re such.” She clarified, shaking her head. In the past she might’ve launched into an impassioned speech about her Peak vision and everything she wanted to do to keep the islands safe. Dread, and her lack of self-confidence, held her tongue. The mare didn’t even need to say the name, Oswin already knew. She wished she didn’t but… who else could it be?

Rather than speak any more on it she waited quietly to hear what damning evidence she was about to learn… perhaps all signs did point to her having been fooled by the Lagoon General - now boss. As much as her heart ached swiftly in her chest and a piece of Oswin wanted to crumble and break to think she had been such a damned fool, she did her best to remain steadfast. These women were strangers and though Nyimara had been pleasant company up until now, Oswin knew too much of her history to give away her emotional state.

She only drew a breath and watched the mare in front of her with concerned eyes, waiting with unease that began to weigh down her heart.
