CNN (expected) and Fox Network (NOT expected) were doing a lot of TV coverage this morning of Queen Elizabeth II's "Royal Ride" to London for public viewing and mourning.
Great-Great-Grandma Queen Elizabeth II was a wonderful person. All of the women at my current workplace were doing the "aww, aww" and commenting on what a wonderful person Queen Liz had been, when her death was announced on Thursday.
I didn't bother to comment, lest my female co-workers tear me to shreds, but the 96-yr-old Queen dying means about as much to me as my neighbor's grandma dying. Replies:
