I tuned in American telly on our Royal Dish at what was shortly before midday/lunchtime in NYC, anxious to find something OTHER THAN the Queen Mum's funeral. Instead, I found coverage of her funeral on eight different American TV channels.

So much for my efforts to put her death out of my Royal mind...
