Tension tightened her muscles like a coil, ready to snap against the tension that weighed down on it. As the behomoth closed off her escape, she skittered to a halt and glared up at him defiantly. "Do not mistake my tone for weakness... It was not a question," he spat with sharpness and poison dripping off each syllable. She did not care for his petty wants nor desires, she afterall had other matters that called for her attention.

"and do NOT mistake me for a gentle woman who will just meekly do as you ask," she growled between gritted teeth. Did he not know who her father is? (To be honest neither did she... but she was not above telling lies to deter this rude stallion.) His lips pulled back to reveal his blunt teeth as his spat his threat. "Salt is easiest on an unmarred coat."

She lifted her head higher on her arched neck as a wicked smile pulled at her lips. "If you know what is best for you, Sparky. I would keep your damn teeth to yourself!" she growled defiantly at him. Her ears laid tightly knit against the quivering neck muscles and her dark tail whipped across her hocks.

The tense seconds ticked by as the two stood toe to toe, both of them too stubborn to obey the other. Mirella was not about to just give up and roll over because some King sauntered up to her and offered some empty headed thoughts about her safety. Did she look like some damsel in distress waiting for a prince to rescue her?

Not today Sparky... not ever.
