RANDOM EVENT CONTEST - CLOSES 3RD NOV

Hey everyone! We are happy to announce a new type of contest. If you are interested in the chance to receive rewards for your participation, you should consider joining in!
As you all know, we put up random events across the islands once a month for characters to engage with as a way to earn experience outside of battling. The basic idea for this contest is that you earn entries for the raffle by suggesting ideas for these random events. The more ideas you suggest, the more chances you have to win!
All submitted entries will go into a master list for the Global Moderators to pull from when posting random events. If your idea is used, you will be credited in the event.
RULES
1. Each submission must be unique and should be relevant to the island/territory it is written for. Island climate should be taken into account, and suggestions should generally be applicable to an island as a whole so they have more utility, unless it only makes sense for a certain territory (e.g. the Peak and Lagoon might be suited to different events than the other areas of the Crossing).
2. Event descriptions should be no longer than 3-10 sentences.
3. Submissions should not call out any characters by name or description.
4. Generally, you will want to follow this format:
A sentence or two about the stimulus itself. Followed by a few sentences about how characters might interact with the stimulus, including any problems they may encounter, things they may find or other outcomes that may happen.
A good example: To all residents and visitors of the Shore: rainy season has arrived, and it's hitting hard and fast. The Shore can expect strong winds, potential flash flooding, violent tides, and possibly even thunder and lightning. Characters are advised to stick to sheltered areas of high ground, and to avoid fast-flowing streams, strong tides, or flooded areas, which could be especially dangerous for the very young, old, or sick/weak. The high humidity and constant rain may also cause a skin infection called rain rot. Keep an eye on the beaches, though -- you might be lucky to find some sea glass caused by lightning strikes!

At the end of the contest, we will randomly draw three winners from the pool of entries. Each player may only win once per contest. Each of the three winners will win a perk of their choice. These perks cover just about every aspect of the game, and include advantages in battles and raids, protecting your territories, and in customizing any future foals just the way you want them. We will provide the full list of available prizes when we announce the winners. Those who win the prizes will have them permanently listed on the legends page for future reference; these are struck through once they have been used.
This contest will run for a week's time, starting now and running until midnight (board time) on 3rd November 2022. Any ideas submitted after that point will not count toward the contest. Please be sure you have all your ideas submitted via email before then. Good luck!
