Families and their lawyer (mostly the lawyer) are gonna get rich off this accident.
Indirectly, huge awards like this are paid by us all, together. Sorry, that award divided by the three unfortunates killed is more than any human alive is worth and capable of earning.
I can understand a hefty award that ends the life of a guy supporting a family, but this wasn't a deliberate accident, I"m sure. Fire Trucks running Code 3 are loud and noisy. Most people manage to stay out of their way. Family went after the govt cuz they/WE have deep pockets. Replies:
