That's fine. the words barely left the woman's lips before the older male inserted his own. No. Sigurðr could not help but let his lips curl upward in a slight smirk. Just like Fadir, as the man aged his grumpiness grew with each passing day. He, of course, had his days where the man of his youth returned but - as of late - a grumpy, short tempered man reared its head more and more. He understood, especially with the sudden death of his father coupled with the weight of betrayl; it was heavy burden.

Ignore him, he's just in a bad mood like always. My name's Nadeždah and this is my father Mikhail.

He could not hold back the chuckle as it left his lips. He knew a thing or two about grumpy fathers.

"Yours too? My father certainly has his days.

He momentarily shifted his gaze to the older man as she introduced the both him. Sigurðr could not ignore the nagging voice that warned of his own father's aging. Someday, he would be just as she is, guiding his grumpy father through the Isles. He then drew his gaze back to meet hers as she questioned what brought him to the Crossing.

"I am Sigurðr Björnson," he dipped his two toned head as his name slipped from his lips "and loneliness, if I were to be honest, is what brought me from the Harbor to the crossing. I am grown accustomed to having a family at my side, he shifted his gaze from one to the other before finally continuing with explanation. For as long as he could remember, he has always had his father, and siblings, aunts and cousins, near to him. Their con-jovial laughter filling the air around them as they all feasted and enjoyed each other's company. "and the Harbor is too quiet without all of them.

He is uncertain when his family will arrive, so for now he would wander the Isles - exploring the places that he had frequented as a child.

"What brings you two to the Crossing?
