Brothers,

I have finally rejoined our ranks after my time away and I have learned a few valuable things. First, I have been too complacent. I used to believe that this pacifism would lead us toward a better future in which we were not villains, but I know better now. We cannot change the minds of the island, and it does not help us to let them take from us. They steal from us with impunity and without fear, weakening our ranks.

Second, we need to form a true brotherhood. The Lagoon had become a twisted popularity contest before I left, with ranked leaders choosing whether or not to defend our members based on their personal feelings toward them. No more should this be allowed.

In learning both of these things, I have come to realize that it is time for the Lagoon to have new leadership. Leadership that won't abandon us again, and while I will not claim to share the exact same vision that Psychedelic proposes, it is at least a vision, rather than the aimless flounderings of our past.

I am not eligible, but if I could, it would be for Psychedelic. If any of you yet remain on the fence, I implore you to make a decision. Voting for leadership is the most direct way that you as a member can control the future of our brotherhood.
