It was early in the morning that Sokar woke up before sunrise and headed towards the Crossing isle that Zev mentioned earlier. He was always an early riser. The screams coming from his herd mates being hunted by lions and his morning patrols caused this. Kachina on the other hand woke up an hour or two later after sunrise, and Sokar felt somewhat nervous leaving her by herself. She was afraid of being alone, for obvious reasons. But this wasn't Punt, so she shouldn't worry about horses kidnapping her or lions hunting her. He was slowly weaning her off of him, she needed to find her own herd soon. He would have to wait a few months for her to get comfortable in this new place. As he arrived at the Common, the sky was turning pink and bright orange. He slightly smiled, he enjoyed the sun rises while on his patrols. It was quite chilly too, but he didn't mind. It was nice to enjoy the chilly weather instead of the hot desert. He lowered his head to eat some grass for a little bit, but then he stopped. He started smelling scents, different scents and there was one scent nearby, and he decided to go to it. The black varnish started trotting toward the mysterious scent. "Hello!?" He said as he got closer to it. He yelled. |
