Use caution when the wolf comes knocking;

He had lost this round, the fate made clear long before the pale mare moved to stand beside the blonde haired stallion. The apology in her eyes is touching, but that did not stop the beast within from snarling his anger. It’s yellow gold eyes glitter beneath his own, its sharp fangs a stark contrast to the steel gray of its coat. The beast wanted blood, but now the only blood that would do was that of the arrogant stallion smirking at him from beside the apologetic woman.

The edge of his hooves grip the rich, dark earth beneath them, wanting nothing more than to free the beast and let it lunge at the dun stallion’s throat. ’Patience…. patience.’ he croons to the creature, extending his muzzle to brush the risen hairs along it’s spine. Usually it was the wolf who spoke sanity into his brazen mind. How quickly the tides have turned.

Ignoring the stallion once again, Rougaru flexes his shoulders, the lean muscles beneath his chocolate hide rolling in an equine’s equivalent of a shrug. She had made her choice, now only time would show her how feeble that decision would be. Nonetheless, the wolfish grin on his lips is warm, almost friendly even as his emerald green eyes fix her in their glare. ”If that is what you want… I didn’t imagine any mare would be so eager to become a pretty little trinket for the lagoon boys but….” he purrs, taking a step away before turning back, unable to readily leave without giving the wolf the satisfaction of her horrified face nor the shame in the cocky stallion’s eyes as he forced himself to confess to her questioning gaze. ”I hear they share everything these days… isn’t that right, little pup?” that last word holds a bit more malice than he fully intended, but the wolf was determined to let it be known his sights were set on a new target. It was time the beast came out of hiding.
