I definitely like Brian stack over Pat Quane. When it comes to public relations, L2 needs a guy like CPD & later FOP(?) had years back as a PR spokesperson by the name of Pat Camden..dressed sharp, eloquent & to the point on matters. I see that in Stack; not only his picture, but in the platform on his website. Not in the form of Quane, where in most every pic you see of him which are mostly group shots with the 35th st crowd, it looks like he just got off a 24 in his work clothes & baseball hat. I think if you're bringing L-2 into the public eye through the media, you have to dress the part, as well as the other above requirements. The L-2 PR rep isn't just about advertising some suburban dept's bowl-o-rama, it's to enlighten the good work of our members, both on & off duty to the eyes of John Q. Public. Replies:
