NOT All Right Now

"All Right Now" is a song by English rock band Free. It originally appeared on the band's third album Fire and Water in1970. It was re-released in July 1973, and a remix of the song was released in 1991.

There was a period (1980s and 1990s, if I recall correctly) when you could not turn on the radio without hearing “All Right Now.” I’m not sure of the dates, because I shut it off every time I heard the first few notes of the intro. It wouldn’t surprise me if it is reaching a billion radio air plays.

As if we have not already heard way too much of the song, it is now the theme song for a drug called Breztri. Breztri is an atmospheric inhaler for people rman’s age who are having trouble breathing between worn-out songs on 101.

What does that mean to me? It means that not only do I have to remove 101 from my radio dial, I also have to keep my TV remote handy so I can hit the “mute” button whenever my TV airs the Breztri commercial.
