I had an '86 Vette and I can tell you that the car doesn't weigh that much (and the rear tires are so big) that if the front end gets a bit "lite" the rear end will come around. My guess is he got impatient and tried to cut everyone off and when he left the normal "lane" his front end ran over uneven pavement just about the time he kicked it. Serves him right. Idiot!
