ooc: it's been 6 hours since the post coming so i believe i can post!
The commons were a strange place. All manner of mare was around with stallions and mares skulking about hoping for a fresh taste. Though Sephiroth supposed he was here for the same purpose. Having since claimed the Thicket for himself he supposed it was time to offer his home to others. It was certainly not a land of Tinuvel but it was his own, all the same. The trees smelled similar if one just closed your eyes and there were moments were he felt as though the Thicket had been meant for him. His embarrassment over the Inlet would not be soon forgotten, especially with the pink scars that crisscrossed his painted hide, but he was ready enough to put it behind him.
He had been Lourne for so long, sometimes he wasn't sure he was ready to be Sephiroth again. Today as he stood in the commons he knew he had to be.
He had only recently dragged himself from the sea and salt still stuck to his mismatched coat. Something caused him to turn from the grasses to peer back at the cragged rocks on the shore and when he did his ever-green gaze fell upon the limp form of another. Despite the frozen state of his heart Sephiroth meandered closer. He lowered his head giving an inquisitive puff of warm breath across her barrel before he drew his head up and back. She was alive. Barely.
Still quite unsure what to do he gave one fleeting last glance to a mare dancing among the flowers nearby before committing to checking on the lifeless one before him. He lowered his head once again, nudging gently at first and with a little more urgency if she did not immediately stir.
