PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Is this really how you want me there? She challenged, using words to try and weasel out of the promise she'd made to him. It was his turn to snort in disgust and he jerked back, an upset frown curling on his lips. "Of course not," he shot back angrily, leveling a glare at her. "I'd prefer you stopped acting like a baby and came with me; but if you won't...?"

He hated trading verbal blows. The concept of arguing with words was still foreign to him, and he felt like he was tripping all over his words, panic-pressing every button he could reach. "Then I have no choice," he finished, taking a step forward. He wanted so badly for her to want to come with him that he was willing to keep trying to talk this through, but every inch of him craved the easy resolution of a fight.

His father had gone over the whole 'more-flies-with-honey' idea with him, but such manipulation required patience he didn't have, especially now that Filumena was close. The mere thought of driving her out of the Peak - willing or not - was slowly but surely overwhelming any possibility of rational conversation. She could be angry with him (she was hot when she was angry, he'd already decided), but she didn't get to turn him down in this. She'd promised, and he'd won.

"I didn't come here for other pretty mares," he snapped, more out of frustration than any attempt to woo. Despite that, his statement was an honest one, and he huffed out a frustrated sigh. "Enough!"

His skin felt taut, buzzing all over as if ants were crawling all over him and he just couldn't do the whole bickering thing. Not now in this strange land, where any opportunistic idiot could try and sweep in and steal her away. Raegar needed Filumena to be safe in the Badlands, where he could watch over her and Ayiana and Teasel and the rest of his little family. "Be angry if you must," he said through gritted teeth as he lunged forward as quickly as his injured hind would allow him, seeking to circle enough behind her to try and drive her forward, head low and teeth at the ready. "But walk while you yell at me."
